Alliance Ground Power, LLC, manufactures a line of trailer-mounted engine-driven AC/DC ground power units which provide quality electrical power suitable for today’s sophisticated aircraft systems. These units meet or exceed Mil-STD-704F as well as all major airframe power quality specifications. 

The units are equipped with high quality Cummins or Deutz diesel engines and reliable AC 400 HZ Marathon generators.  A specially designed transformer-rectifier unit (Optional) provides high quality DC power for continuous operation as well as robust power to start the most difficult aircraft engines - even in extreme cold conditions. 

A state-of-the-art digital controller monitors engine sensors and assures power quality limits are not exceeded.  The control panel affords the operator a simple scroll-through menu of all the significant engine and output power parameters.  Monitoring of the engine includes oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery voltage, and total run time.  AC power monitoring includes voltage, current, and KVA of each phase, as well as frequency and total KVA. 

The controller provides warnings for a weak battery, low fuel level, low oil pressure, or similar maintenance activities.  If a shutdown occurs to protect the equipment, this event is captured and stored to help in determining the problem.  The event recorder stores engine starts/stops as well as run time.
